Naked Urchin Bowl

This sculptural bowl was thrown using a dark clay, and was left with a naked bottom to showcase the glaze. Lines were carved vertically into the curve prior to glazing, resulting in texture and glaze breaking in an unrepeatable pattern. 

The interior of the bowl is fully glazed, making it dishwasher, microwave, fridge, liquid, and food safe.
